Priston Mill, The Tythe Barn, Bath

We watched a pair of lovely people, get married in an Idyllic events and wedding venue in Bath

Well what can we say about this insanely beautiful wedding venue. If you are looking for the rustic barn vibe – Priston Mill is perfect. It’s located not too far from our home town, Bristol. Set in the valley within Duchy of Cornwall’s Newton Park Estate, AKA a beaut part of Somerset.

There’s two locations you can get hitched, Tythe Barn & The Watermill, Lucy and Ross has their ceremony in the barn. It has a a little balcony in which was perfect for an aerial view of the ceremony, Gina stood at the top to capture a specific photo Lucy really wanted of her and her dad walking down the aisle. The Barns colours really complimented our editing style so we fell in love instantly, the colour were perfect. After The ceremony we shipped outside for group photos, the wall of ivy outside the barn was a perfect setting for the group photos and it only rained a tiny bit so we managed to capture them all outside (yay)

Whilst the staff were busy preparing the ceremony now wedding breakfast room into a beautiful masterpiece, we jumped in and took some couple portraits amidst the organising. Oh-boy do we love the photos from this bit. I think we are going to try and make this a part of any couple portraits if we can. Empty wedding breakfast space, yes please.

We then had a break from the hustle and bustle to sit down and re-charge our batteries, and most importantly – food time. Oh my goodness the food was delicious, Lucy and Ross opted for the BBQ and they made a good choice!

As well as the food being amazing, Chris, the event organiser was so helpful.As well as making everything look perfect for Lucy & Ross he answered any questions we had for him and accommodated for us in anyway possible. In fact all the staff there were great, really friendly and super helpful.

Anyway, food ate, batteries re-charged it was time to get back into it. Speeches were hilarious and heart felt which is exactly what you need at a wedding. Gina managed to hold it together and only cry a little bit once.

Before the evening guests started to arrive we shot out to get some couple portraits done, we ran out of time earlier as we had a ball with the group bridal and groomsmen photos. We snuck off around the back, near the water mill (great spot)

And yes my dear friends, there is a park. Lucy and Ross being the ultra fun not boring at all people we know and love, wanted a go on the zip wire.

We love them for this because the photos are awesome and f.u.n and we love that.

Onto party time, when we had a few client meetings with Lucy and Ross we had Pinterest boards to ogle over, our fav – no sarcasm we genuinely love Pinterest boards. Show us ya ideas. They really liked the point and shoot style black and white film vibe photos. As we love them ourselves and do a lot of this anyway we were over the moon with this comment, these are the ones we are talking about (below)
